Florida Polytechnic University supports its active shooter program with the addition of (3 ea). "First Responded" ballistic shields. These shields work great for this application they are both light weight and maneuverable, allowing officers to implement "Single Officer Response" to active shooter threats in order to stop the threat sooner and save lives in the process.

Lake Wales Fl. joins the Venture team with the addition of 10 First Responder (3a) Ballistic Patrol Shields.

Polk County Fl. Sheriff`s Office adds 21 more First Responder (3a) Ballistic Shields for new Deputies . This brings the total to 733 shields on active duty with the Sheriff and another 50 being deployed by surrounding Police Departments in Polk County.
